Award-Winning Author and TV Host Cherise A. Williams should not be here, and that is exactly why she is.

A massive heart attack survivor, Cherise knows what it means to face the moment no one saw coming and choose to rise anyway. She died for 90 minutes. She knows what difficult looks like. She knows what pain feels like.

Named after Stevie Wonder’s timeless classic, "My Chérie Amour," she was loved before she could speak, chosen before she could walk, and destined before she knew her own name.  

Along the way, God placed the right voices in her path and she was wise enough to receive them. In her first acting class with Tasha Smith at TSAW, she was told: Be more receptive. She took that correction and it changed her posture forever.

In his Commercial Life Class at Truthful Acting Studios, Kevin O'Neill declared: You were born to be in front of the camera. Her speechwriting mentor Janet Stovall told her she is not just a speechwriter, she is the voice to the world. Fellow speechwriting mentor Bob Lehrman encouraged her to use her poetry, unlocking a layer of her voice she had not fully released. 

Dr. Pam Perry, the Queen of Media, confirmed the assignment: You belong behind the camera speaking. Dr. Cindy Trimm spoke prophetically over her life: You are going from overlooked to overflowing. 

Her mother, her first covering, laid the foundation long before any of them: Don't look back. You will touch many women's lives when you share your story. Cherise received every word. She acted on every word. The doors have not stopped opening.
